Junior Varsity only:
Nov. 23, 24, 25 – Willard JV Tournament
Nov. 30, Dec. 2, 5 – Nixa JV Tournament
Added yearbook pages to the 2003-04 & 2004-05 varsity team pages.
Added new and improved scans of the yearbook varsity team pictures from the '70-'71, '71-'72, '72-'73, '77-'78, '78-'79, '80-'81, '82-'83, & '83-'84 seasons. They can be found at the varsity team pictures gallery (link below) and on the respective varsity team pages.
Recently discovered state wide media rankings from the 1972-73 season have been added to that teams page. Glendale was ranked as high as fifth in Class L. They defeated #1 ranked K.C. Paseo (who later placed fourth at state), beat state ranked Parkview three times, and knocked off Kim Anderson & Sedalia Smith-Cotton twice (they later placed third at state).
Former Glendale head coach (and program founder) Jack J. Roberts will be inducted into the Springfield Sports Area Hall of Fame tonight (September 24th, 2013). Congrats to his family!

- Changed the mascot and team colors at Camdenton High from the Tigers to the Lakers while head coach there in the early-1950's.
- Played college ball at Drury Univ. and high school ball at Buffalo, MO.

I've started a 'New Falcon Court' page on this website (link below). A Springfield Public Schools facilities review will be completed soon and we (Glendale sports that might use a new gym facility) need to have a plan.
Some of the new gyms built in the area since 2000.
Added yearbook pictures for every varsity team from 1963-1992 & 1994-2003 on each teams page. The photos are rather small from 1987 thru 2003. I'll update those pages with larger versions of each picture as soon as possible. Included J.V. and Frosh team pics when available from 1963 thru 1986. Please check back in the coming weeks when I hope to have pictures enlarged and all JV/frosh team pics posted (through 2003). If you have a 1993 Glendale yearbook or one from 2004 thru this past year(2013), please send it to classmates.com for them to scan. That's how I'm getting all the pictures I've added to the website.
Also, I've updated the All-Time Roster section with mug shots of nearly every varsity player in Glendale history. Missing a few here and there.
Updated the last group of All-Time Opponents, "Misc. Missouri teams,' which includes all teams in the state Glendale has played outside of St. Louis, K.C., or teams in the OC and COC conferences. I've included the Springfield teams link again as well.
Updated the All-Time Opponents categories including Glendale Vs. Ozark Conf, Central Ozark Conf, Oklahoma, Arkansas, St. Louis, Kansas, and elsewhere.
Added links to Max Preps stats for each varsity game for the following seasons...(No individual player stats were added to MaxPreps for the '07-'08 season.)
I've added the 2004-05 Varsity Highlight Film to that teams' page. I cut a bit out of the start of the highlight film and added it to the front page of the site. I think it's a nice mini-doc on Glendale Basketball outside of the '04-'05 season.
Found the '98-'99 Varsity, JV, and Frosh highlight film and put it up on the website in ten-parts. It's nearly two hours long!!! Fitting length for the best team/record in program history!
I've moved the highlight clips from the '11-'12 season to the main team page. I've kept the Nixa Shootout team camp clips under the 'Highlight Clips' tab apart of the 2011-2012 drop down menu.
Boys Basketball Program at Glendale Senior High School in Springfield, Missouri. Opened in the fall of 1963.
