January 19th, 1968 / "Losing Streak Ended"
First ever win over Parkview (Glendale had lost 13 straight to start the series) and the first win over the Vikings by a Springfield school in five years. Even though the Falcons started 0-13, they now lead the all-time series with Parkview 81-55.
February 3rd, 1981 / "#1 Falls in 300th Win"
Jack Roberts & Glendale won their 300th game in an overtime upset of the #1 ranked Class 4A Vikings and future Mizzou Tiger Greg Cavener. Rand Chappell banked in a last second shot in OT to give the Falcons their first ever win over a top rated team.
March 7th, 1990 / "Post-Season Revenge"
Glendale advanced to its sixth quarterfinal in program history by besting the Vikings by one -point. Glendale would make it all the way to the 4A Final Four for the second time. A year earlier, it was PHS that had ended Glendale's season in the sectional round.
February 2nd, 1999 / "Glendale Domination"
Third ranked Glendale controlled this battle of top ten teams from start to finish. Media hype surrounded the matchup, but Glendale's superior play ended the suspense rather quickly. Glendale would go on to top the Vikings twice more that season.
February 11th, 2005 / "The Comeback!"
Although, the Falcons found themselves down only 11 early on, it felt closer to 20! Then, spurred on by one of the more spirited and emotionally raw away crowds in program history, a 20-7 run made the difference for the ninth ranked Falcons to hold off Parkview.
